Dude. 3D class we be doing(did) this. I'm the only bugger that chose to do the old man. Basically we're supposed to sculpt a copy of an original plaster cast (face), and then cast our own sculptures. Mr Tay said we could add some 'minor' touches to ours so I added the Rock eyebrows and horns (which were purely accidental at first) Veh cool.

Tutorial's next week. So much work to do. Dying O_o

Man, homework's fucked up. So much to do and so little time. I'm pretty sure everyone's dying for tutorial week. Then again, I'm sure we're all going to slack during tutorial week and NOT FINISH anything lol. I haven't met the guys for a long time now. Oh wait they're all having exams =x maybe after that we can all have a nice round of buffet at Sakae Sushi. Except this time round Samuel (I owe him 10bucks) won't be the same monster he used to be back then. And I need to gain abit of weight too.

My room is too disgusting already. I've got no time to clean it up its always off to here or there to finish up some classwork. And I'm just too hard on myself. But why wouldn't I be when the school system keeps fucking up my record. I did not take that subjects you twats and that's not my GPA. I deserve better. You can go fuck yourselves. Cereal.

Apart from that everything else is fine. To quote from Rina "you and her how?" Me and her has always been good, cept for a few things in between. And it should be that way. It's too unnatural if it's all ups and no downs. Where's the balance to that? And it's even worse if it's all downs lol (i've been there, not a pretty place).

Mellow music is good therapy for my metal-ridden soul. I admit the metal's been getting at me one way or another and I don't like it, no matter how good it feels. I needed the in-between and I think I've found it (keane? no take that! wait..OH snow patrol! don't ridicule me you lol)

Happy belated 3rd to my god-daughter Kimi.

I'm glad today there weren't any fireworks, though the conditions for one were clearly there. Tempers were held back I guess and that's good. Forgiveness was spread across from one to the other and whatever that is preventable was prevented.

Water under the bridge is all.

I'm glad we didn't explode. I'm glad it didn't happen. And I'm too glad we talked about it in the end. It felt great to release whatever it was that was inside and the fact that you took it calmly and was so forgiving made it a lot easier on me. I'm still sorry though. It takes a while to get it out of my system =). But here's to us, 3 months of friendship, love, being there for each other and for all the awesomeness. Thank you.

I think today was the most tiring day of the week. Digital Art this morning was mind-boggling and irritating even for me. Imagine, drawing vectors for every part of your darn face. Then we had a quick Left4Dead session. I tell you, Kanako is damn imba.

I actually managed to last for hour before I buang (wanna vomit).

History oh history. It's getting too political and dry already with le French revolution and whatnot. Rococo Loco Roco baby! XD

There's a nice evening sky going on right now. My living room, the part near by the window where the plants are, looks like some scene from Caravaggio. And here I am sitting in between the light and dark. My house is noisy, with the television and the constant cries from Kratos, the Sony god of war, on the PS2.

Leslie was talking to me about Magic the other day. Hell no I am never going back but the art is as sweet as ever. It seems that I've lost touch with my inner fantasy goober. Magic art used to be my passion and it has been long since I've drawn anything fantasy. Honestly, how can you not get sick of drawing bottles and fruits everyday.



And generally I don't like painting but I have to tahan man =/

I don't like painting. Maybe I do sometimes.

I haven't been drawing the stuff I like. The usual fantasy stuff. It's all either still life, landscape or peoples. I don't mind drawing peoples but they move too much or other people will just happen to stand there, obstructing your very nice view, once you've started your sketch.

Damnit ok. Just. Stand. Still.

But anyway, here's something to take my mind off from all the artsy fartsy nonsense that's driving everyone crazy. Eets time to annoy the neighbours.

I just finished my charcoal drawing for 2D Studio Art a while ago. And it just shocked me that it looks decent. Not good but decent.

Why am I shocked?

Well, because I used to believe I sucked at charcoal and pastel. But then I realised, that if I take a small step at a time and don't mind being a reeetle bit patient things will turn out better than expected. And it did.

I know I haven't been myself lately. School's really doing something to my brain, like I feel like a "raffles school girl". Come one man, grades aren't everything. Travelling here and there and back again to school is really taking its toll on me. And this coughity cough is making it worse too.

Lucky you were to there to tell me, that school isn't all about grades. It isn't about owning other people (though you get owned in the process =x) and it isn't about proving something to yourself. School's about learning and owning YOURSELF. To improve and own some medium and to discover yourself as well.

Lucky again you were there to remind me to take care of myself. To be there with me when shit happened. To support and remind me to drink my water every time I almost coughed to death.

And so I thank you. And I love you.

Bloody hell am I losing weight? Little time for schoolwork. Something is taking its toll. No more dilly-dally. Do or do not because there is no try.

Soccer today was good. I only conceded 2 goals but we won 5-2 in the end. Go netballers.

grumpy day

I thought Monday was going to be a grumpy day for me at least, cause we had to bring so much stuff for 2D studio art. And we have to do so much for Anatomy drawing class. In the end it wasn't all that bad. I actually liked painting with the palette knife because it seems easier than blending and I'm not uber good at blending paint. So impasto knife-ing I will be for the next few paintings. Haha.

And bloody hell the travelling to and fro NAFA is starting to bug me. Too often I reach home late and exhausted lol. Maybe it's just a phase. Been thinking about certain stuff lately. Not the only one to think about it but I think it's really valid.

But damn I feel pressured by schoolwork. So damn tiring.

So that was the first week of school. For some strange reason, it is so damn tiring. A lot of things to buy (expensive things) and homework! The best is drawing. "Today no lesson, but got homework". Jianyao damn imba hahaha. It's going to be a lot more harder this time round, seeing that everyone is working extra hard to get better grades. NO more slacking boy.

tattoo show

Ahah! So Julie, Jianwei and I went for the inaugural tattoo show at the Singapore Expo today. I think it would have been more enjoyable IF all of us had tattoos/were tattoo artists/were going to have a tattoo over there. But overall it was nice to see all the different shtuff.

But to be honest with you, I went just to see this guy.





The Chris Garver. Very cool guy. I think we were the last few to have our pictures taken with him. We also had our cool posters signed too. Of course we did, we waited in the queue damn long man. I guess our patience finally paid off haha.

There was also this event on stage where Garver and three other artists collaborated on four different canvases. What they did was to draw on their own canvases and then after a few minutes switch over to the other canvases. This they did like a few times and after awhile all of the canvases looked freaking nice.

So all in all it was goood. Had dinner at Jule's after. Imba baked rice ;;

Went to visit Hafiz at SP for some SPinnovex thing. I call this, the ProtoLaser3000! (ok no that's not what its called, I forgot) Basically it's this laser device that shoots a laser beam and its supposed to identify damaged tissue in muscles. I tried shoving my hand under the laser and guess what? All healthy, haha.




This is the freaky laser bit right here.

Tomorrow I'll be heading down to expo (FAR) for the Singapore Tattoo Show. I might get to see Chris Garver, who knows? I bet it'll be like a pilgrimage for Jianwei.

Just a quick update.

I'm down with flu/cold and sore throat and my module registration didn't go so well. Then I have to go down to NAFA (again) to get it rectified. I always get shit from NAFA admin. Damn. This is not how I want to start the year man. Note to self: Have more initiative in doing stuff, so that you don't get fucked.

My house is in the process of slowly being revamped by my Dad. I think the dust is killing me. I shall have to vacuum.
